Secret Shopping on AOL June 25, 2010

I recently came across this blog, Secret Shhhopping, on AOL and at first glance thought it was a shopper breaking his or her ICA’s by talking about their recent shops. I then realized that this blogger goes out to various businesses and grades them on different touch points, including  the arrival, asking for help, purchase transaction, and return policy to name a few.

I wanted to share this only because it’s interesting to see a “shop” from an average customer. If you come across stores where you have done a mystery shop, it’s interesting to see how the store stacked up based on your experience.

It’s definitely not true mystery shopping, and I hope that people who are interested in getting into the industry do not read this blog and think that this is typical of a mystery shopper when they are out in the field. If you are a shopper, you know this personally!

Until next time…happy shopping!
